FREGULA SARDA
Fregula can be considered one of the most traditional dishes of Sardinia. Its preparation is an old family tradition among Sardinian families. Fregula is made by placing flour on a large flat plate and making a circular motion of the hand with the addition of hot water and sea salt. In this way, small balls begin to form that are then left to dry and baked in the oven for a short time, a process that gives fregula its characteristic golden color and a truly unique flavor appreciated by many.
